Creamy oats with cinnamon and banana

Serves 4
1 cup (250 ml) uncooked oats
1½ cups (375 ml) water
1½ cups (375 ml) low-fat milk
¼ tsp (1.2 ml salt)
1 – 2 bananas sliced
1 tsp (5ml) ground cinnamon

  1. Place oats, water, milk and salt in a saucepan and bring to the boil over medium heat. Once it starts to simmer stir constantly to prevent lumps. Simmer for 5 – 10 minutes or until cooked.
  2. Serve oats with banana and cinnamon
